Readable is a universal App exclusive to iOS on iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, makes reading more comfortable and in doing so, became a Top 20 paid Productivity App on the App Store.

Readable uses face detection to identify the presence of the user, and auto-scrolls content at your choice of speed. Look away, and Readable will pause the auto-scrolling until you return.

Westfield Ecommerce

June 28, 2010 by Jay Montoni in Web

The Westfield Group is an Australian company and the largest retail property group in the world. The company has now transitioned from their traditional bricks and mortar shopping experience into the online world.

I worked for the better part of the year with the digital business & marketing group to help them create the architecture and visual design for the online experience.

Mad Pow

June 07, 2010 by Jay Montoni in Web

The Mad Pow team approached me to help them rethink and redesign their online presence. The studio had far outgrown its current site and was in need of a forum to showcase their work, innovative culture and company aspirations.

The newly designed site combines MP's rich content with a clean, spacious and intuitive layout. The large type size and generous leading allows for easy reading, creating focused and approachable pages.

The site concentrates on hooking its visitors directly into the company and team members through blog posts/twitter feeds. This helps to humanize MP and form a direct connection with the user. The result is a site never feels dated, as it is ever changing with new content through the data feeds.

Westfield Premium

March 10, 2010 by Jay Montoni in Web

Westfield Premium shopping centers demonstrate luxury shopping at it’s finest. With pampering that is sure to satisfy all needs.

The Westfield Premium website allows customers the ability to have full access to all the amenities the Premium Centers have to offer. Users may book services like childcare assistance, “Hands-Free” shopping, makeovers, personal shopping stylist and home delivery right from the website. The site is designed for time sensitive individuals that love to shop but are on the go all day.

Westfield desired an online experience that was clean, simplistic and intuitive in nature but executed with “dramatic elegance” to appropriately promote their unique approach to luxury shopping.

NBA.COM

January 27, 2007 by Jay Montoni in Web

Hungry pro basketball fans can now stay satisfied with more in-depth news, stats, standings, photos, video all at their fingertips.

The new NBA.com boasts a new navigational model with intuitive nomenclature; this makes general wayfinding across categories a breeze. The site has been redesigned to hold the NBA’s massive abundance of video & photo archives, which now allows the user to browse for their favorite teams and players.

NBA.com puts the fan first and provides them with helpful engaging content in an easy to understand user interface. The site will have longevity due to the flexible internal structure that allows it to hold multiple sources of content in varying capacities i.e. regular season vs. playoff season.

MTV is not just about music anymore, but also spans across movies, TV shows, and news!

The pop-culture enterprise was in need of a way to connect on-the-go users with MTV.com content. We created a native mobile application that lives on your phone, allowing users access to news, video, music, games as well as an online community, all from one application on their phone.
